Saturday we got up early and went to Chena river where they start the Yukon Quest. This is all on top of the frozen river. They go 1000 miles and end up at White Horse. It was exciting to watch them take off and we have been tracking it on the computer. So far, our musher, Vance Mackey, is somewhere in the middle. We are cheering for all of them though.If you look close enough you can see the dogs wearing little booties.
