Allakaket village below. There are no roads to this village or the next one we went to. Everything here was brought by plane. Even the cars. Here is the landing strip.

This man was very nice and he talked with Brian for awhile. He told Brian that it gets to -80 up there. I could definitely tell a difference in temperature from Fairbanks as soon as I stepped out of the plane.
